Happy Labor Day! I wanted to quickly pop into your feed with two announcements.
First, All Who Labor now has a Patreon! This show has been such a blessing for me, and I’m glad I get to share these conversations with you for free, but my hosting platform does cost 12 dollars a month. If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve heard and have some money to spare, you can support the show on Patreon for 3 dollars a month. I’ve posted a poll so that I can hear what member benefits you’re interested in. The link to my Patreon is in the bio.
Second announcement: I’m going to be leading a breakout presentation at the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in DC on October 29th. I’ve been twice in the past as a participant -- once virutally and once in-person -- and it’s so cool that I’ll be attending this year as a presenter. The presentation is called “Bringing Jesuit Values to the Bargaining Table,” inspired by a moment in my conversation with FFU’s Diane George. I’m excited to talk about Catholic social teaching, labor, and to collectively imagine what a Jesuit values-influenced bargaining process would look like. I hope to see you there.
All Who Labor’s next episode will be out on September 18th. Thanks for listening.
