Anna Nowalk Season 2 Episode 2

Send us a text

On this episode of All Who Labor, Anna Nowalk discusses Fordham Faculty United (or FFU) - Fordham's union of contingent faculty - with one of their co-chairs, anthropology professor Dr. Diane George.

Notes:
- When this episode was released, the description and episode noted that the union was called the Fordham Faculty Union, rather than the correct name, Fordham Faculty United. This has been corrected.
- It looks like highest minimum per course rate was $8,500 in August of 2022, a minimum that only applied to Arts and Science professors with 6 or more years under their belt. All other minimums were below $8,000: https://www.fordham.edu/media/home/departments-centers-and-offices/office-of-the-provost/pdfs/Collective_Bargaining_Agreement_for_Part_time_Bargaining_Unit_Faculty_Members.pdf
